Twenty20 Cricket World Cup

The IPL might over but the 20-20 Cricket World Cup is going to be start from 30th April 20101 and the Men in Blue will play their first match against Afganistan this Saturday. The ICC 2010 Twenty-20 World Cup is an International 20-20 Cricket Tournament which is going to be held in the West INdies From 30th April 2010 to 16th May 2010. Although the tournament is held every two yrasrs beginning in 2007, the scheduled ICC champion Trophy one-day international torunament to be held in West Indies in 2010 has been revised to a 20-20 Cricket format because the 2008 Champion Trophy tournament in Pakistan was postponed due to security reasons. The tournament will consist 12 teams - the test playing nations and two qualifiers. Matches will be played at 4 grounds.

The ICC World Twenty20 World Cup cricket tournament has been divided into four groups.

Group A- Pakistan (A1), Bangladesh (A2), and Australia

Group B - Sril Lanka (B1), New Zeland (B2) and Zimbabwe

Group C - South Africa (C1), India (C2) and Afganistan.

Group D - West Indies (D1), England (D2) and Ireland
